Cameron Thatcher is the Managing Director of Mixed-Use Development at 68 Ventures. By integrating residential, commercial, and hospitality into cohesive communities, these developments create intentional environments built for how people live, work, and connect.

He previously served as Director of Development Finance, overseeing underwriting, securing financing, and managing lender and investor relationships across 68 Ventures’ development portfolio. Prior to that, he led Land Acquisition — sourcing new opportunities, managing contracts and due diligence, and assisting in homebuilder negotiations.

A native of Ohio, Cameron attended Stanford University before transferring and graduating from Florida State University with a degree in Real Estate. He competed on the Swimming and Diving programs at both universities,  where he was a two-time Athletic All-American and three-time CSCAA Academic All-American.

Cameron and his wife, Ayla, reside in Fairhope. When they are not traveling, they can usually be found training their Belgian Malinois, Foxi.
