A.J. Mercer is the Director of SFR Development Finance at 68 Ventures, where he leads the finance function behind the company’s single-family residential lot development platform, overseeing underwriting, securing financing, and assisting with lender and investor relationships.

A.J. previously served as Director of Finance for CR Endeavors in Birmingham, Ala., overseeing accounting, reporting, financing, and asset management across the company’s development portfolio, while also supporting due diligence for new project pursuits.

A native of Birmingham, A.J. earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from The University of Alabama and is a licensed CPA.

A.J. lives in Baldwin County with his wife, Katie, and their two children. He enjoys spending time with friends and family and being on the water or behind a grill.
