Legendary Marina & Yacht Club Grand Opening

Crucible Construction completes construction on initial phase of the new Legendary Marina and Yacht Club in Gulf Shores, AL.

It was awesome to get to see the hard work and talent of the team at Crucible Construction recognized this past week at the Grand Opening of the Legendary Marina and Yacht Club, Gulf Shores, AL. Zach, Bart and George knocked it out of the park on this first phase and I can’t wait to see them execute the rest of the vision. I’d like to also say thank you to Mayor Craft for his leadership in helping make this project a reality. He and I have been working on this property for over 12 years with the goal of making it the flagship of the Waterway District. Finally, the reason we are where are though is because of my dear friend and partner, Peter Bos, for not only believing in the possibilities, but also going even bigger and better. Peter, Pete, Rodney, Greg and everyone else at Legendary have been wonderful to work with on all fronts and we are looking forward seeing this soon to be iconic development come to fruition.

About the Project

This brand new marina consists of a 750+ space, 65′ tall, dry boat storage facility (encompassing 3 separate buildings); a two-story boat sales and servicing center with a Hardie & stucco exterior and Bahama shutters; a 45-slip marina; restaurant; clubhouse and an area for future mixed-use development. The marina operations facilities include a boat launch, boat display areas, fuel docks, and boat staging areas on just over 16 acres along The Intercoastal Waterway.
