68 VENTURES SCHOLARSHIPS
68 Ventures invests in students and student-athletes at the University of Alabama and the University of South Alabama — betting on the next generation of leaders, the people who put in the work whether or not the spotlight ever finds them.
The 68 Ventures Athletic Scholarship
This award is for the players who earn their place without a scholarship offer – the senior walk-ons who show up, put their teammates and their program above themselves, and embody the heart of the team.
This scholarship carries personal meaning: Nathan Cox walked on at Alabama from 2000 to 2003 and knows exactly what that road takes. Each year we honor senior walk-ons at both the University of Alabama and the University of South Alabama.

Lieutenant Nathan Cox Endowed Scholarship
This endowment carries the name of Nathan Cox — a Crimson Tide walk-on, a United States Marine Corps infantry officer, and the founder of 68 Ventures. From the practice squad, to the Marine Corps, to building companies from the ground up, his path proves a single idea: the people who bet on themselves and serve the people around them go further than anyone predicts.
The Lieutenant Nathan Cox Endowed Scholarship backs Culverhouse students who lead the same way — with discipline, resolve, and a servant’s heart. We’re not just funding a degree. We’re investing in the next generation of builders and leaders who live out selfless exceptionalism.
We invest in people who bet on themselves.
Chasing Greatness Real Estate Award
68 Ventures was built on the Gulf Coast in real estate and development — and it started with a South Alabama degree.
This award backs USA MCOB students chasing the same path: the future developers, brokers, and entrepreneurs who’d rather build something than wait for permission.
