A native of Wadsworth, Ohio, Mike Carps brings a rare blend of discipline, strategy, and entrepreneurial drive to his role as Entrepreneur in Residence at 68 Ventures. In this position, he focuses on identifying and operating businesses with long-term growth potential.

Mike graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 2014 with a degree in Mechanical and Ocean Engineering and went on to serve nine years as a KC-130J pilot in the U.S. Marine Corps, deploying across Europe and Africa in support of global operations. He later earned his MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, where he deepened his passion for building businesses that create lasting value.

Now based in Pensacola, Mike lives with his wife, Ryne, and their three sons—Henry, Callan, and Fritz. Outside of work, he enjoys family hikes, reading with his boys, and spending evenings at the playground.
