April 7, 2026 (Daphne, Ala.) — 68 Ventures (68V), a Gulf Coast-based development and investment firm, today announced the closing of Lyndon Oaks, a 483-lot residential development in Raleigh, North Carolina, for D.R. Horton (DHI). This acquisition expands 68V’s geographic presence to four states: Alabama, Florida, Mississippi, and North Carolina.

“We are always grateful for the opportunity to add value to D.R. Horton in any way we can,” said Drew Dolan, CEO of 68 Ventures. “While growth brings many benefits, the most meaningful is the opportunity it creates for our talented team members to take on greater responsibility and continue advancing their careers.”

Serving as the land developer, 68V will deliver finished lots to DHI across five phases of the project. D.R. Horton has led the nation in annual home production for 24 consecutive years. To date, 68V has delivered more than 13,000 lots and currently has approximately 12,000 lots under active development and in backlog as it continues to expand across the Southeast.
