Vault Mortgage was founded in 2018 with the intent of providing mortgage services to Truland Homes buyers. At the time, it was called Trulend Mortgage. Trey Hardwich earned the presidency in 2021 and began to effect much-needed improvements to the infrastructure, service offerings, and internal processes.
The original name of Trulend Mortgage was clever, playing on both its relationship with Truland Homes and signifying Truth in Lending. As Trulend grew its operations and influence and expanded clientele to other real estate transactions, there was a consensus that the name should change. The name Vault Mortgage was chosen in order to signify security, reliability, integrity, and upward momentum in lending.
While Vault Mortgage is the preferred lender for Truland Homes, their scope is much larger. Vault presently provides mortgages for all types of single-family homes, investment properties, and condominiums across the Gulf Coast. In addition to providing the same exceptional service that Trulend Mortgage clients have enjoyed over the last four years, Vault Mortgage is adding new features such as a concierge service for those who are purchasing or refinancing a home.
