The Bellator Story


Bellator was founded in 2008 by CEO Nathan Cox. Three years later, Troy Wilson merged his real estate company, partnering with Nathan to begin building Bellator Real Estate & Development to what it is today.

With the leadership of Nathan as CEO, Troy as President and Geoff Stacey as COO, Bellator has quickly grown from a two-man operation to the #1 producing real estate company across Baldwin and Mobile Counties. Bellator serves these markets with its seven offices located in Spanish Fort, Fairhope, Mobile, Orange Beach, Gulf Shores and Ono Island.

Unlike many large brokerages, Bellator is owned entirely by the same local individuals who operate and manage it. With the combined efforts of its more than 180+ agents, Bellator closed $551,775,020 in real estate transactions in 2019. This allowed Bellator to maintain its #1 ranking among all real estate firms along the Alabama Gulf Coast and its more than $540 million increase from its first year in business. Since 2008, Bellator has closed over $3.1 billion in real estate transactions.

This was in addition to launching a new custom-built website and customer relationship management system in partnership with booj, an industry leading and highly sought-after website development and technology company based in Denver, Colorado.
