Adapting to COVID-19
COVD-19, a pandemic that has swept across our nation, has changed our customers’ needs and wants in a home. It has heightened the importance of the simple and yet distinct meaning of the word “home.” Home is where memories are made, safety is found, comfort is enjoyed. It’s a place to express yourself and let yourself go.
We at Truland Homes respect what our customers are going through as they continue to desire and build their American dream amidst a changing environment. We take every opportunity to deliver a distinctive buying experience which is why we put specific protocols in place in recent weeks. Ensuring our customers’ safety and communicating it effectively is key. We distributed not only enough cleaning and safety supplies to protect our associates, but also our customers in each office. We added signs to the front doors to let customers know their safety is our first priority. We have reminder signs in the model homes to practice social distancing and distributed best practices guidelines to limit the amount of exposure to touched surfaces in our models. If in-person model home touring is not an option, we now offer the opportunity for virtual tours via electronic applications. We can explore a new home with a prospective buyer and close a home with a nearly touchless experience if it’s desired.
Virtual Grand Openings
In addition, we are now taking our marketing communications efforts to a new level with the trial use of “virtual grand openings” allowing viewers to see the homes and reach out directly to agents with questions. Our end game is to keep pace with our goals as a company and deliver new homes to a market with changing needs and a growing demand. Being nimble and dedicated to our customer experience is the “tru-ly” unique way our company stands out and stands tall.
