Drew Dolan, CEO
Dolan, previously president of Truland Homes, a leading Gulf Coast builder of more than 3,000 homes, moved into the CEO role to oversee 68 Venture’s real estate and development efforts.
As president for Truland, Dolan was responsible for implementing the company’s vision, mission and overall strategic direction in addition to driving culture throughout the organization, a role he will continue as CEO of 68 Ventures.
“Leading Truland Homes was the most rewarding experience of my professional career. I am grateful to each of our team members and trade partners that made it such a success,” said Dolan. “As we look forward, I am excited to return to 68 Ventures and lead the organization alongside Nathan and Adam. We have a top-notch team and are well positioned to focus our resources to significantly expand our development operation.”
Previously, Dolan worked for 68 Ventures as Chief of Staff where he was focused on providing support to the CEO, project management and strategic planning, in addition to working with internal business units, banks and investors on deal structures and execution.
Dolan’s real estate and development career began when he started working as an attorney in the commercial real estate group at Maynard, Cooper & Gale (now Maynard Nexsen) in Birmingham, Ala. Here, Dolan represented buyers, sellers, investors, developers, landlords and tenants in all types of real estate matters.
A native of Fairhope, Ala., Dolan attended The University of Alabama where he earned a bachelor’s in finance, a Master of Business Administration, and a law degree.
